Pumpkin math activities that are perfect for October and November.  There are so many fun activities to use in math centers or to do as a whole class project!

Our class went to the pumpkin patch last week and picked out a huge pumpkin that has been sitting on a table waiting...   Next week we will be deciding on what type of face this guy is going to get carved into it!  We will use our pumpkin face book and our graph to help us decide.  If you are at a school that is not allowed to celebrate Halloween, you can still complete the pumpkin math book and have fun estimating and checking your pumpkins weight, circumference, vertical lines, and seeds.

I have decided to use this Math Number Book for my fast finishers in the month of November.

We are also going to talk about cylinders and make this adorable cylinder pumpkin!

There are also pages for counting by 5's, 10's,  and rolling a dice to double a number - great pages for desk work for your mornings.

Don't forget to check out these other fun fall packets:  Into the Pumpkin Patch, Scarecrow Fun , and Jump Into Leaves

As always - have fun while you learn!

If you didn't get a chance to download this month's freebies, they are perfect for your Parent/Teacher conferences - a graph to show the student's reading growth and a great book mark to remind parents of the importance of reading with their children!
