Happy Chinese New Year!

Chinese New Year is such a fun holiday to chase away any winter blues!  I love the bright colors and of course the dragons!  There are so many great dragon books out there and this is a great excuse to incorporate them into your curriculum.   My favorite will always be the Paper Bag Princess.  Here is my latest packet.   These are some of the activities I do every year in my class.  I hope you enjoy them.  I also have a link to my February Freebies!  These are two of the recording sheets that I am using in my daily centers.  It helps to keep my students accountable.

Martin Luther King Writing Project!

It's a freebie for January!  I am going to be celebrating Martin Luther King this week in my class.  This is a great writing project that gets your students thinking about how they can make our country a better place to live.  Three choices of writing paper depending on the age of your students.  Enjoy!
