Earth Day! Writing, crafts, and get out of your seat Fun activities!

I am so excited to share some of the fun activities that I have been using in my classroom over the past few years!  Many of these activities will have your students outside picking up litter, tallying it up, and graphing it, walking around the classroom and talking about earth activities with their peers - and really thinking about conservation issues.  Not to mention, a lot of fun craft and writing activities - enough to fill up your halls!

Follow this link and have fun!  I hope you love it!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Another fun freebie!

Need a fun craft activity for your class this March that also reviews adjectives?  I love this activity.  It exposes my first graders to such fantastic vocabulary and also allows them to think positive thoughts about themselves!  Did I mention that it's free?  Just download and go!

Happy Chinese New Year!

Chinese New Year is such a fun holiday to chase away any winter blues!  I love the bright colors and of course the dragons!  There are so many great dragon books out there and this is a great excuse to incorporate them into your curriculum.   My favorite will always be the Paper Bag Princess.  Here is my latest packet.   These are some of the activities I do every year in my class.  I hope you enjoy them.  I also have a link to my February Freebies!  These are two of the recording sheets that I am using in my daily centers.  It helps to keep my students accountable.
